Retail Gondola Shelving
The Gondola is either an "island" or wall shelving display unit. It is most often used in the retail shopping environment. It does not use four-posts (one in each corner) as most other shelving units do. It typically features a base shelf with a vertical piece into which all shelving and there accessories are attached.

Shelves are cantilevered and provide easy access from the front and sides of the unit.

It is used to display merchandise in a number of ways.
Shelves being the most popular, however the following are popular display methods: -
Slatwall, Pegboard, Mesh-Panels and various Hooks.

The Components used are the most popular and versatile general construction system for shelving available.
The Components can be used in the assembly of shelving units, the frame-work for trolleys, cages, fences and much much more.
The basic components are available in a number of standard sizes, and on request non-standard sizes.

Shelves

Library Shelving is available in a number of formats.

The most popular being a clip together system similar to the gondola and wallband style of shelving.
The slotted angle style of shelving has gained popularity as a more cost effective alternative lately.

Clip Shelving
This type of Shelving is generally used in the Retail Sector specifically for the storage and merchandising of supermarket like products.

A number of store owners have been removing existing shelving units and replacing it with the Clip-Shelf System.
